Terms of Service
Last updated: September 13, 2026
By accessing or using Cook4Me, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. The service
Cook4Me is a social recipe community where users can publish, discover, save, discuss, and share recipes and related food content.
2. Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your login information secure, and for information and content you submit.
3. User content
You retain ownership of content you create. By posting content to Cook4Me, you grant Cook4Me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, distribute, and technically adapt that content as necessary to operate and promote the service.
You must only post content you have the right to use. You may not post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, dangerous, or privacy-violating content.
4. Cooking, allergens, and health responsibility
You are responsible for how you use recipes and information found on Cook4Me.
Recipes may be created by other users and may contain errors, unsuitable ingredients, incorrect cooking times, allergens, or incomplete safety information. Cook4Me does not guarantee that any recipe is accurate, safe, complete, healthy, allergen-free, or suitable for a particular person.
You are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, food preparation, cooking temperatures, storage, dietary restrictions, and any other safety considerations before preparing or consuming food.
5. No professional advice
Cook4Me does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, or other professional advice. Information in the app is for general informational and community purposes only.
6. Paid features
If Cook4Me offers subscriptions or other paid features through Apple In‑App Purchase, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies.
7. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue features or content at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cook4Me and its owner, operators, developers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from your use of or inability to use the service, user-generated content, recipes, food preparation, allergies, injuries, device issues, data loss, or third-party services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cook4Me is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
9. Assumption of risk
You understand that cooking and food preparation involve risks. By using Cook4Me, you voluntarily accept responsibility for decisions you make based on recipes, comments, recommendations, or other content available through the service.
10. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cook4Me and its owner, operators, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
11. Account enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the community, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or prevent abuse.
12. Disputes and applicable law
These Terms are subject to applicable law. Any dispute provisions, governing-law clause, venue clause, or arbitration clause should be reviewed for your specific country and business structure before publication.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Cook4Me after changes take effect may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
